How long have you been at Kuhn Rikon? I started my vocational training with Kuhn Rikon in 2013.
Describe your field of work. Primarily, I’m responsible for our web shop and for maintaining our picture database. I also help with the organisation of special sales – I have to organise and order lots of things for warehouse sales or summer sales.
Which project to date have you found most challenging? My biggest challenge came in the last few months of my vocational training, when I stood in for Claudine Hächler during her maternity leave. This was particularly difficult because I was only at work for three days a week, and at school for the other two days. I was thrown in at the deep end, so to speak, and had to learn lots of new things very quickly. But they do say that you learn fastest by your mistakes!
A hot topic at the moment: barbecuing! What are your favourite barbecued foods? I love barbecuing, so the more food the better! I don’t need much meat though – sausages are quite enough. But I love mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese. And one other thing you’ll always find on my barbecue is corn-on-the-cob.
Which Kuhn Rikon product springs to mind when you think of summer, sun and sunshine? Our barbecue kitchen aids, of course, because they’re just perfect for barbecuing. And then there’s my favourite pan, the Hotpan. No table should be without one in the summer! Not only does it allow you to cook healthy, light meals, but it also gives you flexibility with regard to time. So it’s perfect for summer parties and barbecues.
