  • Account Manager – Customer Service

    We are a successful, award-winning housewares manufacturer located in Novato, California, and are looking for a full-time Account Manager to join our team.  Please read the job description to ensure that you have the skills necessary for the position, as we are only able to respond to those who fit the role. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, friendly, hard worker who wants to be part of a small, yet well-established, business. This person will be able to work independently and feel comfortable collaborating with a team.


    • Account Management
      • You will work with a variety of customers from small independent stores to national chains, understanding their routing guides and logistical requirements. 
      • Experience working with tight deadlines and an ability to show flexibility when assigned last-minute tasks is key.
      • Must have strong written and verbal communication, as you are the primary contact for our network of sales reps and direct customers.
    • Process Sales Orders and Invoices
      • You will be responsible for processing customer orders daily and working with our warehouse to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner, having ownership of the order through the entire process until it is invoiced and delivered.
      • Having an ability to pick up an ERP system efficiently is critical, as we operate off a proprietary software, and prior experience with an EDI platform is desired.
    • Prepare Sales Reports and Attend Tradeshows
      • Assist the Sales Director with various sales and customer reports, product forecasts, presentations, etc. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
      • Able to travel domestically one to two times annually to industry tradeshows.
      • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized to ensure an efficient experience for our customers.

    • Must be available to work a full-time, 40-hour week, schedule in our Novato office.
