For optimum efficiency, your pans should be as close in size as possible to the diameter of the stovetop.
In particular, this applies to energy-efficient cooking on ceramic stovetops and cast iron stovetops.
You will find a wide range of different pans on our website. If you need help, please contact customer service.
Induction-compatible cookware by Kuhn Rikon is also suitable for use on other types of stovetop.
The diameter of the pan is measured across the top inside rim of the pan.
The double-walled DUROTHERM® cookware range is an innovation from Kuhn Rikon. As the name says, these pans have a double wall which has a strong insulating effect. Accordingly, food remains warm for up to 2 hours. Likewise, you can cook food in an energy-efficient manner by following the “soft cooking” method developed by Kuhn Rikon.
Here, the “multi-layer” primarily refers to the raw material, which is a special material consisting of several layers with an aluminium core. The aluminium core conducts and stores heat in an optimum manner.
